Have you ever caught yourself thinking, "I'm not smart enough", "I'm not attractive enough" or"I'm not lovable"
If so, you're not alone.
One of the most common struggles I see isn't anxiety or depression on their own. It's the quiet belief underneath them: "I'm not enough."
The difficult part is that most people don't even realize they're carrying this belief. They simply assume it's the truth. But here's something important to remember: You weren't born believing you weren't worthy. Somewhere along the way, you learned it. Maybe you grew up feeling like you had to earn the love of your parent by being perfect. Maybe you were constantly criticized, compared to others or felt invisible. Could also be because you've experienced rejection, bullying or a relationship that slowly chipped away at your confidence.
As children, we don't question these experiences.
We make them mean something about ourselves.
A child doesn't think, "My parents are overwhelmed."
A child is more likely to think, "I must not be important."
Those beliefs can quietly follow us into adulthood and affect us in so many ways. It can affect our relationships, sabotage some opportunities, having bad boundaries and the way we speak to ourselves every single day.voice becomes so familiar that we mistake it for our own.
The good news is that those beliefs can be change.
This is where hypnotherapy can make a powerful difference.
Instead of simply trying to think more positively, hypnotherapy helps explore where those beliefs first began, the root cause. By accessing the subconscious mind, we can uncover the experiences that shaped your view of yourself and begin replacing those outdated conclusions with healthier, more empowering ones.
The goal isn't to pretend you've never been hurt.
The goal is to stop allowing old experiences to define who you are today and controlling some of your thoughts and behavior.
Imagine making decisions because you genuinely believe you're capable.
Imagine accepting a compliment without arguing with it becuase you truly feel enough.
Imagine setting healthy boundaries because your needs matter too and you have a high respect of yourself.
That's what growing self-worth can look like.
Healing isn't about becoming someone new.
It's about removing the layers of fear, doubt, and old conditioning that have been covering your true self.
You have never needed to earn your worth.
You were born with it.
Sometimes, we just need help remembering what was there all along.
